Bye Bye Miss. American Pie

Yesterday Dawn left up. Yes she is way up north. She called to say she got there at 1:15 our time 9:15 there time. After a few bumps she had a good trip. Now she will snap a few pics.and a few vids. and a lot of fun. To Dawn if you read this love you. Have fun.

Oh what I have seen

Let's all take time to think about it. What have you seen new in your life. Or lets say in the past 25 years. Home Computers or Cell phones. Well what elese. I have just come back from my uncle's 95'th birthday. Can you imagine what he has seen in his time on this marble we call earth.The things he has done. Only if we all can be as lucky. He has 5 kids who have kids who also have kids yes 4 generations of family. Well here is a great big HAPPY BIRTHDAY on your 95 years  to my Uncle. We all love you zio. Here is to another wonderful year of life. Good night to all.

We weighed in wed. Well we lost which is good. Down 1 pound in one week. Family is doing great and so is the new pup. Looks like she might be close to being house broken. So looks like she might be a keeper. So that's about all for now. Till next time

What a day

Morning to all on this great day after fathers day. I hope all your days out there was as great as mine. It started with getting up at 6:15 to walk Lucy. Then Sandy woke and started her day working around the house not letting me do a thing. The kids woke 1 at a time all remembering that it was fathers day.Tony had to work so off he went. Call my dad to wish him a happy fathers day and talked for a while. My mother-in-law came over and so did my brother-in-law Rick. We had dinner and enjoyed the day talking and being with each other. I talked to my sister in PA. to make dates to go visit over the summer. The in-laws left and Sandy and I enjoyed the night we had left. May sound like not much BUT it was a GREAT FATHERS DAY. Like I said before in a blog it was with FAMILY. There is no greater gift in life then to be with family. (And no Sandy I will not give your gifts back. ) Well I here I go to start another day in my life. I hope yours  will be as great as I know mine will. Just remember one thing " Any day above ground IS A GOOD DAY." Author of that is unknown but I love that saying.

It's a little word. Well maybe not little, like it or at, but well, maybe it's a huge word. FAMILY. Think about it. Sandy, Dawn, Jake and I went to a birthday party for a niece. Both sides were there. That is, Sandy's side and our nieces other side. It was great. Two or three generations were there.Talking, playing, eating and drinking. The day was great, weather wise and family wise too. Think about it, we are all family, we can all talk to each other, play and laugh . What a world it would be. We did not pick, fight or mock. We had a great time. Well, it was for Tracy's and Kari's birthday so here is a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you two. And may God bless His whole family. Good night.

Wednesday Sandy and I go to Weight Watchers. Once a week I hope to report on it. If anyone is loosing weight and wants to shear there progress, recipes, tips, tricks or hopes we can share. 

Hi Hotties

That is every one who did not move to Alaska after these 90 degree days. There is only 1 thing hotter and that is my wife. Tried to work outside but just to hot for us retired people. So I mowed the lawn a little, sat inside a lot then mowed a little more. Shopped with Sandy, made dinner and mowed some more. Great day off. Lucy is doing great. No surprises in the house a big step. Working a long day today 1:00 to 5:00 love that day. So if we all can survive another hot day great. If not remember 4 more mounts and cold weather again then we all know what WHITE STUFF .

Just a little blog to say hi. Its was a long week really tired. Will try to got back into it tomorrow I have it off. The Job is getting to me a little .I really like it but some people are strange no matter what you do there is no pleasing them and I don't mean costumers ether. I GOT IT , I GOT IT

Well after a long time of begging, Sandy finally let me have it. I begged , I whimpered and almost cried until she gave in. She was going to give it to me for Fathers Day but I got it earlier then that. Maybe it was to shut me up but, I don't care. Like I say in the title, I GOT IT, I GOT IT! So I don't care and it was a girl. Don't know her name so we'll call her, Her. She is a 3 month old sheltie pup . Pictures to follow tomorrow. So that is what I did today. Good night all.

I'm a chick

Hi all I'm back. Had a long day at the depot today and came home and ate dinner. After dinner we ( that is Sandy, Dawn & I ) sat down and watched a movie. I rented P.S. I Love You for Sandy and Dawn, but I also watched it. Well guys, I must admit, it was good. Ya I must be a chick because after all it is a chick flick. But all you guys out there in blog land ( as if there is a real land of blog ) once in a while I think you need to watch a movie where no one says "I'll be back" or "hay punk, make my day." So men, lets all be chicks once in a while and make your woman, girl or significant other's day and be a little chickish. So, to all the men out there who don't think this is so, well Haaay and good night, for tonight I go to sleep happy with the woman I love, happy. Good Night All.
